Poem Every sob story of the heart

Every sob story of the heart

When felt and told by the young

Are maximized by a hundred

All of these stories

When heard by the no longer young

Are minimized by a thousand

With the youth it is hard to see past today

Even though they think they can

Making their pain life ending

With age it is impossible not to see past today

Even when many of us would like to stop seeing it

When you combine the ability to see forward

With much more history to look back on

It is inescapable how insignificant

Their story of lost love truly is

  1. So true there are so many things in my youth that seemed such a big deal that I know simply shrug out, my first love though it was a difficult relationship and I was only 12 I have never forgotten its never lessened somehow

  2. Well, lets just say with age comes wisdom and maturity.I can very well relate to it and I know as time goes by,the things that seem so important will seem so very insignificant.Lovely flow.Loved it!
