Poem – I Implore

Existing in light and shade

Youth and age

Obsessions craved

Cradles and graves

Countless thoughts

Bounced off endless waves

Moving to and fro

As if slaves

Empty deeds

Emotions displayed

Needles in the hay

Making it through the day

Desires kept at bay

Tired and fatigued

Curious and intrigued

Strength in numbers

Alone weak in the knees

Opening and closing doors

Countless others ignored

Places and ideas

Left unexplored

Get from this what you can

I implore

(I just let it flow. I hope you enjoy)
